Kira loves her sister! And is completely enjoying the fact that she now lives a mere 15 minutes away...instead of across the country.

Summer 2009

What a blessing our families are. We enjoyed hosting Kira's mom and step-dad Jerry for a week this summer. They were kind enough to haul out the remainder of Kira's belongings that lingered back in California for years...our basement is officially packed full...

At any rate, we had a fantastic time with them and can't wait until they move to Colorado someday!

K's San Diego Trip: May 2009

Kira enjoyed a trip to San Deigo to visit some good (and very missed) friends. Although the weather was yucky and overcast, the company was fantastic. Balboa Park was also a nice treat!

Spring 2009

We loved visiting Mom and Jerry and visiting the Sequoia National Forest!

Was a great spring for fishing. Travis caught his personal-record trout...she's a beaut! Kira caught a lil' one, too. Not bad for her second time out.
